Firstly, that amazing quote comes from none other than Alber Elbaz about his Lanvin pre-fall collection 2011.

Basically, I started this blog, not only to join this community of fashion bloggers that I seemed to be spending all of my time reading, but also to add my own voice to it. I like to design my own clothes and I thought this blog would be an opportunity for me to show what I have made.

So here is a sneak peak at what I have been working on, I have a lot more to post but I thought I would post them sporadically (try and use it in a sentence today!) rather than posting them all at once in a kind of LOOK AT MY CLOTHES fashion.

So, here goes! I can't claim the t-shirt (that goes to the marvelous Marc Jacobs) but I can claim for the shorts. What this photo doesn't showcase very well is that the shorts are actually slightly sheer. I have some more photos that I will post in a while that show the material a bit better.

Just to follow on nicely from the colour post, some of my favorite black and white photos I have come across. I wish I could photo credit everything but I have had them sitting in random folders for so long I have no idea where I got them from! But I do know that the outfits are from Junya Watanabe Spring 2010 RTW via style.com
